Emerging from the vibrant music scene of the Elora/Fergus area, The Shawn Connerys blend indie-rock energy with alt-folk charm, creating a sound both nostalgic and fresh. Founded in 2004 by Michael Raab and Grant Farrell, the band spent a decade crafting their signature style before debuting Town Secrets in 2014. The album marked the beginning of their journey as purveyors of original melodic storytelling wrapped in upbeat acoustic and electric vibes. In 2018, drummer Ryan Young brought a dynamic new rhythm to the band, followed by bassist Dave Jones in early 2022, solidifying a lineup that’s tighter than ever.

In late 2022, the band decided it was time to get into the studio to start working on a new album. In the spring of 2025, The Shawn Connerys released their highly anticipated second album, "Odonata". Packed with catchy hooks and a solid bass-and-drum foundation, the new album showcases the band’s evolution without straying away from their signature sound.
